Protocol, inspired by a true story, is a 6 minute short based on the 1987 David Sellers hostage stand-off with an Arizona SWAT team. After carjacking, shooting a police dog and a rookie, Sellers barricaded himself in a home and held a 10 year old boy as his hostage. In Protocol, NFL Star Kerry Rhodes and real SWAT team members from the incident, reenact the 8 hour confrontation and takedown that rocked Tempe.
