目前市面上主要有灰、橘、黃三種顏色的戰術護目鏡顏色 :

• 灰色 : 灰色就如同所有墨鏡一樣可以降低周景觀的亮度，且灰色有一個特點就是周為的色彩配置並不會改變。
• 橘色 : 橘色可以降低亮度，但較灰色不同的地方為，橘色可以提高景物對比。有時候在沙漠戰場特別有效。
• 黃色 : 黃色搭配燈筒使用可以些微提高景物亮度，提升對比。黃色再陰天會COB戰場特別好用。 這也是為什麼SWAT特警都是使用黃色的原因。
  
  
  
  

There are 3 main colors of goggle lens on the market. Grey, Orange, Yellow:

• Grey : Grey act just like every goggles. It decreased the brightness and didn't effect the color.
• Orange : Orange also decreased the brightness. But different from the Grey, Orange can increased the contract of surroundings. This makes Orange sometimes suit for desert warfare.
• Yellow : Yellow goggle with flashlight could increase the brightness and the contract. Sometimes yellow is perfect for urban or COB condition. That's why most of the SWAT are using yellow goggles.

Fixed Blade or Folding Knife? 折刀與直刀的選擇

折刀或是直刀? 這是所有獵人出發前一定會面對的問題。

若任務需求與工作環境較為嚴苛，大部分的獵人都選選擇直刀，因為折刀在先天上就有缺陷，不管設計再好的折刀都會在壓力過大時損壞，且在處裡動物肉塊或毛髮時，經常會有汙垢進入折刀的機構系統內。 且直刀的握感絕對比折刀舒適。

折刀為一個好處為它好收藏與攜帶，且現今的折刀設計已經比過去精密許多。

但不管是好事壞，刀的定義還是工具，如何正確的使用它，與發揮它本身的價值。在於使用者的成熟度與技巧。

Fixed blade or folder? It’s a decision all hunters face when choosing the knife they’ll carry on a hunt. Based on 
conversations with knife makers CJ Buck and Edmund Davidson, there are arguments for both.

Says Davidson, the very nature of a folding knife means there is a weak spot in its construction. “The fixed blade is much less likely to fail under pressure.” Buck also prefers a fixed blade. “It’s trustworthy in hand for what can be awkward game-processing tasks,” he says.
The expediency of cleaning the knife is also a factor. “When you’re field dressing an animal, materials like hair, fat, and blood can coat the mechanism of a folder and fill its channeled handle,” Buck points out.

However, Buck and Davidson both understand why some hunters choose a folding knife. “For one, a folder is compact and packs up nicely,” says Davidson. “There have been many advances over the years in materials, processes, and designs that make today’s locking folders stronger than they have ever been,” adds Buck.
The two agreed that choosing a hunting knife is much like choosing a hunting rifle—it boils down to personal taste and preference.

To hunters, knives are more than just items in our pack. They are status symbols, specialized cutting instruments, cherished heirlooms, and campsite multi-tools. Each knife has a unique history, but together knives share a heritage as humankind’s oldest tool.

逃離背包 BOB

    如何準備一個派的上用場的逃離背包(下稱BOB)須在災難前就先做好災害評估，隨時依時間、氣候、與災難種類做好準備。該計畫必須有完整的配套，包含前72小時的維生物資與一個逃離至指定地點的路線規劃，此規劃必須包含開車路線或走行路線，或者是水源的所在地與避難所的方位。不管規劃如何BOB必須是一個從家裡出發完整的維生系統直到找到或抵達救援地點為止。

    例 如台灣常遭遇颱風，須隨時做好一旦淹水、山崩後必須如何自救與逃離災區的計畫。或者是當台灣北部遇到強烈地震，核一、核二廠發生災變需盡快逃離輻射外洩區 的配套。以上的案例發生時間都很短，必須即時做出快速與正確的決定。當災害發生時沒有規劃的餘地，僅有事前的準備才能成成為末日的生還者。

開始準備: 背包

背包是在末日來臨時第一個需要的裝備，背包可以放進任何災難發生時你需要的物品。但如何準備一個合適的背包，需要按照個人的情況做特別的準備。

    如何準備一個災難發生時派的上用場的背包需考量災難的種類、發生時你的地點(城市；野外)、發生時的氣候(夏天；冬天)、你距離水源多遠、是否身處於有敵意的環境中(殭屍、暴動)?

以上的考量不外乎下列三種背包的種類: 

1. 逃離背包 Bug Out Bag(BOB)：   
    逃離背包(BOB)的定義是：當災難發生時你必須撤離身活所在地所需要的背包(或當末日來臨時需獨自生存的背包)。

2. 回家背包 Get Home Bag(GHB)：
    回家背包(GHB)的定義是：當災難發生時能夠回家所需要的背包。舉例來說，此背包必須在災難發生時提供充足的裝備，讓你能夠回家拿取其他生存裝備(如：BOB)。  

3. 每日背包 Every Day Carry(EDC)：
    每日背包(EDC)的功能為：能夠攜帶每日所需的物品，但在災難臨時發生時須能夠即時脫困與等待救援的背包。舉例來說，此背包必須有足夠的裝備應付當地鐵在你搭乘時翻覆。
