Guns Akimbo is a 2019 New Zealand action comedy film written and directed by Jason Lei Howden. It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Samara Weaving, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Ned Dennehy, Grant Bowler, Edwin Wright, and Rhys Darby. The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September 2019 and was released in New Zealand on 5 March 2020 by Madman Entertainment. The title is a reference to akimbo, a combat technique in which two weapons are used, with one in each hand.

〔本報訊〕演唱會悲劇！美國鞭擊金屬樂團「Suicidal Tendencies」日前至瑞士巡迴演出，一位28歲樂迷在演唱會上high過頭，自行跑到台上一躍而下，未料台下觀眾卻沒有將他接住，該樂迷送醫搶救後宣告不治。

　外媒指出，這名來自瑞士北部索洛圖恩州（Solothurn）的28歲樂迷，在樂團「Suicidal Tendencies」22日演唱會上，一時興起跑到舞台上向觀眾群跳下，未料觀眾卻沒有即時接住他，讓他直接跌落在地上，當時該樂迷看似無恙，還能自己 爬起來，往洗手間走去。

　演唱會工作人員要求該樂迷至醫院檢查，但他堅決婉拒，未料當他返家後，竟突然癲癇發作，緊急送醫後宣告不治。當局將此事件視為意外死亡個案，而演唱會主辦單位則表示，「這是一個警訊，我們對該樂迷感到相當遺憾。」

　事實上，表演者或觀眾從舞台上向觀眾群跳下的動作，在搖滾演唱會中非常常見，國外稱此舉為「Stage Diving」，而台灣則戲稱為「釘孤支」，歷史上有不少因不慎跳躍而導致摔斷腿、壓傷歌迷或死亡的案例。

想了解音樂史的流變？除了翻閱厚厚的音樂史文獻，你或許還有更簡單的途徑。Google Research 近日發布了一個可視化的動態網頁專案——Music Timeline，簡而言之，這是一個透過如同彩虹一般的時間線展示自 1950 年來各類音樂的分布情況，用戶可以輕鬆地了解到在不同時間節點哪些音樂類型更受歡迎、哪些歌手風靡一時。

根據愛范兒報導，在這個如同彩虹一般的時間線上，每種顏色的彩帶代表某種音樂流派，彩帶的寬度代指 Google Play Music 用戶收錄該流派音樂所屬的年代。比如搖滾樂在 1965 年到 1970 年之間的彩帶非常寬，這意味著 Google Play Music 用戶收錄的搖滾樂大多所屬於這個年代。
令人費解的是，古典樂並沒有收錄在這個時間線上，Google 的說法是古典樂通常是以作曲時間分類的，因此沒有收錄在內。
這個時間線的資料來源並非廣告牌排行榜，而是來自自家 Google Play 音樂服務的資料資訊。事實上，通過對音樂資料的整理以及用戶資料挖掘，Google 很容易了解到各類音樂的流變以及用戶的偏好。
Google 表示，Music Timeline 這個專案只是他們音樂發現小組的一個端倪，未來他們還將開啟更多類似的虛擬化專案，比如 DDoS 攻擊 ，或者 YouTube 的訪問情況。

The Lord of Salem 塞勒姆女巫案電影

由 1692 年發生於塞勒姆(Salem) 的女巫案為故事主軸，並以重金屬、撒旦、暴力為主要元素拍攝的恐怖電影 The Lord of Salem，內容雖然並未著墨於重金屬音樂，但卻可讓觀眾了解重金屬與撒旦教的密不可分的關聯因素。

1692年，美國麻薩諸塞州塞勒姆一個牧師的女兒突然得了一種怪病，隨後與她平素形影不離的7個女孩相繼出現了同樣的癥狀。從現代醫學角度講，這是「跳舞 病」的一種表現。這類癥狀的病因是一種寄生於黑麥的真菌「麥角菌」。當時人們普遍認為，讓孩子們得了怪病的真正原因，是村裡的黑人女奴提圖芭和另一個女乞 丐，還有一個孤僻的從來不去教堂的老婦人。人們對這3名女人嚴刑逼供，「女巫」和「巫師」的數量也一步步增加，先後有20多人死於這起冤案中，另有200 多人被逮捕或監禁。1992年，麻薩諸塞州議會通過決議，宣布為所有受害者恢複名譽。

Since 2003 there have been stages in 2 marquees. The second stage, Back-to-basics-stage, is reserved for more hardcore oriented bands. Since 2006 the festival has taken place over 2 days, and still has two stages. In 2007 the main stage was called the "We Rock Stage" and the second stage "Eastpak Core Stage".
