A generation spoiled by technology just got even more lucky in 2013. Sure there’s Lunarlon, Sprintweb and other tech out there, keeping sneakers lightweight, comfortable and secure. There’s GORE-TEX, which keeps us ineffably dry no matter the weather. We even sometimes wear leather jogging pants – for warmth, right? A new revolution in the world of apparel arrives courtesy of engineer Scott Peters, and now Under Armour has the rights to the world’s first one-handed zipper. Using a super-strong magnet on each end, the zipper ends clasp together effortlessly without the guidance use of two hands. While other details of this wonder technology is scant, look for it to appear on forthcoming Under Armour gear starting in Fall 2014.
